“File” Number - what is it & where/how to find it?

The "File" number, is generated when an appraisal begins in CarCheck. This "File" number serves as the main reference and search ctiteria for an appraisal and trade-in guarantee file up until the point is it connected with a confirmed new car order. 

Overview of the appraisals

The number is automatically generated by Carcheck and is already displayed before the new appraisal (= file) is created.
