How does the trade-in handover process work?

How does the trade-in handover process work?

If a customer has bought their new Stellantis vehicle online and linked the new vehicle purchase to a trade-in of their used vehicle through Omnichannel and the Agent location has then declined the offer to pre-empt the trade-in for their own stock the handover of that trade-in vehicle will take place as follows...

  1. The new vehicle will already be on-site.
  2. The customer brings their trade-in vehicle to the dealership.
  3. The Agent performs the counter appraisal on the trade-in vehicle in Carcheck and confirms the purchse price with autobiz.
  4. The Agent purchases the trade-in vehicle from the customer.
  5. The Agent completes the hanover of the new vehicle with the customer

NB: the handover/counter appraisal of the trade-in vehicle must take place before that of the new vehicle for the process to work.
